New Delhi: Former President APJ Abdul Kalam has made it clear that he would not be contesting the Presidential elections against the UPA candidate Pranab Mukherjee. Kalam’s decision has been a great setback to Trinamool Congress President Mamatha Banerjee and the NDA alliance which wanted Kalam to contest.
However, Kalam has said he was not interested in second term as a President. He at the same time thanked all those who wanted to see him as the president of India again.
