Bangalore : The High Court has adjourned hearing into the case pertaining to the provocative speech delivered by Kalladka Prabhaker Bhat, an RSS leader. Bhat has been accused of delivering a highly inflammatory speech during a Hindu Samajotsav held at Uppinangady, in a public interest litigation filed by Suresh Bhat Bakrabail of Karnataka Komu Sauharda Vedike.
The Divisional Bench comprising Chief Justice VIkramjit Sen and Justice BV Nagaratna, adjourned the hearing taking heed of the appeal made by Bhat’s advocate for more time to file objections to the transcript of the speech. The transcript of the speech was produced before the court by the advocate for the petitioner AK Subbaiah recently.
