Bangalore : Kannada film star Arjun, popularly known as Mental Manja, has been arrested on August 29, Wednesday for harassing and torturing his wife.

The arrest took place following a complaint by Lathashree, Arjun’s wife. It has been reported that he used to get drunk and harass his wife who was staying with her parents unable to bear his harassment. It is learnt, on Tuesday night Arjun came to his in-law’s house and fought with the security guard and also abused Lathashri.

The actor has been produced before the court and remanded to judicial custody.
