Mangalore : Lavanya, a student of Lourdes Kannada Medium School, Bejai, has bagged the first rank in the state in Kannada medium making the district proud in the SSLC result, which was out on May 12, Monday.

Lavanya have scores a total of 611 out of 625, recording 97.76 percent, securing cent percent marks in mathematics and social studies, and 94 in science, 123 in Kannada, 95 in English and 99 in Hindi.

Lavanya is the proud daughter of Balasubramanya Padakannaya, a businessman, and Poornima, a house wife, a residents of Bejai.
