Mangaluru: ‘Kannada Ratha’ special promotion campaign to mark the diamond jubilee celebration of united Karnantak arrived at Mangaluru city and Mayor Harinath inaugurated it at Mangaluru Town Hall of Wednesday.

Speaking on the occasion he said that this is a time where we should remember the sacrifices of those people who struggled to unite the Karnataka which was distributed in bits and pieces.

Kannada Sahitya Parishat district President Pradeep Kumar Kalkura said that we should love our mother tongue and our culture.

“Let’s live as Tulu people, but let not separate from Karnataka,” he said.

Information Officer Khader Shah, Corporator Shashidhar Hegde and others were present.
