Mangalore: The largest placement drive for students across the coastal region, held on the premises of Karavali Institute of Technology, Neermarga on Friday, May 4 attracted about 15,000 or more students who were benefitted earlier in 2011 also, as now in ‘Karavali Placement Mela-2012’in which 20,000 participants were expected in a 2-day placement drive that could give jobs to at least 8,000 persons this year.

As many as 152 companies of various sectors are taking part in the Mela, to provide jobs, Rao informed.

Dr. R. Prasad, principal, Vinod Kumar, administrative officer, and Zeeshanth, placement officer in Karavali Group of Colleges, were present, at the inaugural function.
