Mangalore : On the occasion of the 14th commemorative day of India’s victory in Kargil war, floral tributes were paid to Kargil Martyrs at the War Memorial at Kadri on July 26, Friday night.

Though a candle light vigil was planned, the heavy rains did not allow it. The gathering paid floral tributes. Among those present included Vijaynath Vittal Shetty, Managing Trustee of Sri Bhoothanatheshwara Temple, Sharathi Bhandari, President of DK District Ex-Servicemen’s Association, Vikram Dutt, Treasurer, Brigadier IN Rai and others.
