Mangalore: A programme has been organized the War Memorial at Kadri Hills Mangalore on July 26 to commemorate India’s victory over Pakistan in the Kargil War. The programme will be held under the aegis of the DK District Ex-Servicemen’s Association. Homage will be paid to the Kargil Martyrs on the occasion.

Informing this, NS Bhandari, President of the Association said Mangaloreans can light candles and place flowers at the War Memorial on this day.

Bhandari said it was a day when every Indian should remember the great martyrs who sacrificed their lives and several others who risked their lives in the war for the sake of their motherland.
