Mangalore: Karmar Nagesh Shetty has been elected the President of Bunts Bahrain, an organization of members of the Bunt community residing in Bahrain.

This was informed by Bhaskar Rai Kukkavalli, Editor-in-charge of ‘Namma Samparka’ monthly. He said under the leadership of Nagesh Shetty various programmes will be held during the year 2012-13.A get-together is also scheduled to take place at Sitra Baba Garden, Bahrain on September 7

Nagesh Shetty who too was present spoke on the programmes to be organized by the Association. He said various dignitaries like Vinay Hegde. Chancellor, Nitte  University, Actor Sunil Shetty, BR Shetty of UAE Exchange, Dr Mohan Alva of Alva’s Educational Institution have participated in programmes organised by the association.
