Mangaluru : The Karnataka government on Saturday issued revised Covid-19 guidelines in the state, allowing the reopening of places of worship and amusement parks from Sunday, July 25.
In the fresh guidelines, the state government said, Temples, Mosques, Churches, Gurudwaras, and other religious places are allowed to open and related activities pertaining to the places of worship are permitted from 25-07-2021 strictly adhering to Covid-19 appropriate behaviour and SOP issued by the concerned department.”
However, Jathres, Temple festivals, processions, congregations will not be allowed, the government order read.
DK District in-charge Minister Kota Srinivas Poojary has informed this in a tweet and said the CM has also permitted distribution of Prasada in temples. He has also thanked the CM for this latest decision.
