Mangalore : The members of the Karnataka Madrasa Hifazath Committee, Mangalore staged a protest demanding suspension of Usman Haji, President, DK District Wakf Advisory Committee in front of DC Office on Dec 24, Monday.
Addressing the protestors, Ghulam Mohammed, President, Karnataka Madrasa Hifazath Committee said that Usman Haji has failed to obey the state government’s order to implementation of Madrasa syllabus, hence he must be suspended from the post of president. He is playing politics in the religion’s name, he added.
He also said that Usman Haji has political support, but we have the support of Ullal Thangal and AP Usthad. AP Aboobakar Ustad led-group is biased and has made injustices to Madrasas.
The protestors said that that members of Samasta Kerala Sunni Students Federation allied to Late E K Aboobakar Ustad team had even hijacked the Madrasas trying to implement EK syllabus for children, But AP Group had won cases in terms of continuation of syllabus in Civil Courts, Assistant Commissioner’s Court, Munsif Court, Mysore Divisional Wakf Tribunal Court, Government Minorities Court and in the Karnataka High Court too.
Madrasa Hifazath Committee Vice President Syed Meeran Saab, members Abdul Rashid Zaini, Kaamil Saqaafi, Aboobakkar Siddiq Montugoli, Hyder Parthipady and Munir Mukkacheri participated in the protest.
