Beltangady : D V Sadananda Gowda’s son Karthik Gowda and Mythriya Gowda’s controversy takes a twist after Sandalwood director Rishi claims Mythriya is married to him.

It is learnt that, Mythriya Gowda had who filed the case against Karthik claiming to be his wife. But Rishi, who was on a visit to Dharmasthala on September 3, Wednesday stated reporters that Mythriya was his wife and he can take oath in Sri Manjunatha Swamy temple of Dharmasthala to prove it. In turn he said that he has also filed a complaint against Mythriya alleging her of cheating and polygamy.

He also said that, he had Mythriya 10 years ago in July 2004 and fled after robbing him of Rs 2 lakhs. If it wrong, let her or her family file a complaint against me.

Mythriya has filed a false complaint against Karthik Gowda, Innocents should not be punished. I know her very well and after marriage had found her living with another person in Pune. While questioning, she had threatened him and warned against revealing the status of their relationship.

A magistrate court in Bangalore heard Rishi’s complaint on Tuesday and ordered him to submit all relevant documents related to their relationship. The next hearing will held again on September 16.

According to the complaint, Rishi stated that he had met Mythriya while shooting for the film Surya, The Great. Rishi fell in love with Mythriya who was then called Shruthi Gowda and Shivani and got married on July 17, 2004, and lived together for four months at Sanman Lodge (earlier called Hoysala) in Seshadripuram. But in his absence Mythriya was going out with other men and finally fled in 2004 with Rs 2 lakh.

After getting information on her, Rishi went in search of her to Pune and found her with another man hailing from Bangalore. Since then he did not interfere in her life and was busy in his own life.
