Kasargod : OT Firoz, a senior police officer of the crime squad of Kasargod, has been suspended from service for reportedly involving in several theft cases. The order to this effect was issued by SP S Surendranath.

Reports said he had colluded with thieves and helped them plan thefts in jewellery shops at Chervattur and Trikkaripur. The fact was exposed when one KP Basheer who was arrested revealed the truth. Source said he was wanted in connection with theft in jewellery shops and temples by conspiring with the thieves.
