Kasargod : There is some development in the investigations into the case of murder of a teenager named Saabith in Kasargod during broad daylight on July 7, Sunday.

On July 9, Wednesday, police took into custody three persons in connection with the case. DySP Chandran said the three have been arrested for having connections with the accused. It is said the accused had met the three after the murder, but the latter had not informed the police about it. The cell phone of one of the main accused Akshay has also been seized. It is said he had given it to his friends before going at large.

Police have also seized a scooter used by the assailants. It was found   a little distance away from the place where Saabith was murdered. Blood stains were found in the scooter  and a jacket was also found under the seat. The vehicle has been sent for forensic examination.

Search is on for the main accused Vaishakh and Akshay.
