Kasargod: “The Kerala government will be forming comprehensive health policy to provide high class treatment to the poor people,” said Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan.
He was speaking after laying foundation stone for special ward for Endosulphan victims at Kasargod general hospital on Thursday.
“Though Endosulphan was banned a decade age its affect is still destructing the lives of people. Victims are not being able to avail the medical facilities properly. Kasargod’s Endo victims has to depend upon Mangaluru based or other hospitals. To rectify this problem a new hospital block with all facilities will be constructed,” he said.
Kerala health Minister K K Shailaja, Revenue Minister E Chandrashekharan, MP P Karunakaran, MLAs N A Nellikunnu, P B Abdurazzak, K Kunhiraman and others were present.
