Mangalore : Kerala Chief Minister Oommen Chandy said the Karnataka Assembly election results will indicate the trend for general elections scheduled fo next year.
Addressing nursing students from Kerala at Sahodaya Hall, Balmatta on May 2, Thursday, he said the UPA government was providing a good administration under the leadership of Prime Minister Manmohan Singh.
He said large number of students from Kerala are studying in Mangalore now. But, in the future they need not go elsewhere as good higher education facilities will be provided in the state.
Speaking to reporters at the Congress office later, he said the Congress will win the assembly elections and that the corruption and misrule of the BJP will be advantageous to the party.
Referring to the various scams involving the UPA, he said the UPA Government has initated stern steps against all those found guilty.
Kodijal Ibrahim, P V Mohan, Ivan D’Souza, Suresh Ballal, P J Thomas and others were present on the occasion.
