Kasaragod, : Vishwesha Tirtha Swami, the chief pontiff of Udupi’s Pejawar Mutt who was in Thiruvananthapuram on Monda, Kerala Chief Minister Oommen Chandy and other ministers called on him. Swamiji, considered to be influential, also being spiritual leader of the Madhwa Tulu Brahmana Samajam, he was given a rousing reception by the Samajam on Sunday in Kerala.

The seer is on a visit to important temples in the country and Kerala was a part of the tour. Seer will be there in Thiruvanathapuram till Tuesday evening and he was met by Kerala Home Minister Ramesh Chennithala, and Health Minister V.S. Sivakumar on Monday.
