Udupi : A Kerala registration car fell into a pit that was dug up for constructing a vehicular underpass at Ambalapady Junction on NH-66 on Friday.

The passengers in the car with a Kerala registration, escaped with minor injuries. They were going to Kollur Sri Mookambika Temple. Sources said that the driver lost control of the car while giving way to another vehicle. due to which the car fell into the ditch.

Though the NHAI placed barricades around the ditches, the car fell into it.
