Kasargod: Kerala state revenue Minister E Chandrashekharan orders the revenue officials to disburse the land to eligible beneficiaries within two year.

He was speaking in a meeting held with revenue officials at DC office on Monday.

“As per the present details only 1,994 people are eligible for the land deeds out of 8,000 applications. Officials should rile a report about the exclusion of rejected applications. No one should remain landless in SC/ST colonies,” he said.

He ordered ADC to look after this matter.

“The applications should be considered soon without any judicial hurdles. Officials should identify the land in horticulture department to distribute it among the landless people,” he added.

MLAs P B Abdurrazak, N A Nellikunnu, M Rajgopal, K Kunhi Raman, DC K Jeevan Babu, ADC Mrunmayi Joshi and others were present.
