Bengaluru : A memorandum was submitted to Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa to announce financial aid for those associated with the film industry. KFCC Honorary secretary NM Suresh, former KFCC president Sa Ra Govindu and Forest Development Corporation chairperson Tara Anuradha met the CM on Friday to press their demand for the package.

Speaking to the media, Mr Suresh said, “There are 18,000 people who are associated with the film industry and are currently out of work due to Covid restrictions. Though the package has been announced for various sectors, no aid has been announced for those associated with the film industry so far. Hence, we have requested the CM for a financial package and he has responded favourably.”
