Bangalore: The stand-off between Karnataka Film Producers’ Association and Kannada Film Artistes’ Association ended on a happy note on Thursday.
A meeting of film artistes and producers and executive committee members of Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce was held at Rebel Star Ambareesh’s residence.
Producer A Ganesh who had a tiff with Ramya over her non-cooperation in participating promotional activities of his film Dhandam Dashagunam returned the money to Ramya in the presence of Ambareesh.
Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce President Basant Kumar Patil has withdrawn the chamber’s decision to impose a ban on Ramya for one year.
Meanwhile, Karnataka Film Artistes’ Association has also withdrawn its decision of boycotting producer Ganesh.
Speaking on the occasion, Ambareesh said he was very happy over the happy ending of the issue.
“There is no ban on any one. All the issues were solved amicably,” said Ambareesh.
Ambareesh made Ramya to shake hands with producer Ganesh and wish him success.
Ganesh was seen smiling when Ramya shook hands with him.
“I thank all the artistes, especially Ambareesh uncle and Rockline Venkatesh uncle, for supporting me. I wish the best to Ganesh,” said Ramya.
When asked whether she would be acting in a film produced by Ambareesh.
“I am ready to act in the film if Ambareesh uncle asks me,” she said.
