Beltangady : New ministers UT Khader, Health Minister and Vinaykumar Sorake, Minister for Urban Development visited Sri Kshetra Dharmasthala on May 21, Tuesday to offer their prayers to the Lord and also met Dr D Veerendra Heggade, Dharmadhikari of Dharmasthala.

In his interaction with Dr Heggade, the health minister Khader delved on the conditions of the primary health centres as also the steps that can be taken to improve health care facilities in rural areas.

Later, speaking to reporters, Khader said he plans to visit Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh to study the health service systems in those states.

He also visited Guruvayanakere mosque, Congress office at Belthangady, and Srirama Temple in Kanyadi near Dharmasthala. Beltangady Block Congress President, K Harish Kumar, lawyer, Ramachandra Gowda, and several others were present.

Even Urban Development Minister Sorake accompanied by his family members visited Dharmasthala and spoke to Dr Heggade. Later Udupi MLA Pramod Madhwaraj and his wife too visited the Temple and later met Dr Heggade.
