Kasargod : The youth released a day after abducted from Nellikatte in Perla.

It is said, the kidnappers let him go at Cherladka in Badiyadka police station limits and fled the spot.

Abbas a resident near Perla checkpost was kidnapped on Sunday in a car. The family members of the youth had even filed a police complaint in Badiyadka police station.

Police immediately raided the residence of one of the accused men in Thalangara, Kasargod. Following this, the kidnappers released Abbas in Nellikatte, Cherladka, and took off from the spot.

It is said that a jewellery dispute between the kidnappers and Abbas’s brother is the reason behind the abduction.
