Mangalore : The Karnataka Janatha Party will hold massive protest in front of DC Office on Dec 26, Wednesday, neglecting the developmental scheme implemented by Former CM B S Yeddyurappa.
Speaking at the press meet held at Press Club on Dec 24, Monday KJP State Executive member Mariamma Thomas said that Former CM B S Yeddyurappa had implemented many schemes for the welfare of women like Bhagyalakshmi Scheme, Sandhya Suraksha, Self Help Groups and Widow Pension scheme but the former CM Sadananda Gowda and CM Jagadish Shettar have not showed interest to continue it and help the poor.
She also said that because of the political conspiracy by the BJP leaders, Yeddy was a scapegoat and was hated by many BJP activists. But now when all class people are supporting Yeddy in his new party, the BJP leaders tensed and are busy giving various press statements, he said.
She said that former CM Sadananda Gowda had earlier stated that no BJP activists will join KJP party, but on Dec 23, he said that around 3000 people registered legal membership to KJP and the first KJP meeting was a success.
KJP state secretary Ramachandra Baikampady, Kamaraj Rai, Ravindra Shetty and Srinivas Shetty Nariya were present.
