Mangaluru : Vijaya Kumar Kodialbail’s ‘Madime’ Tulu movie Produced by Balakrishna Films and Tulu industries 53rd Tulu movie will be releasing on November 20, in Suchitra Talkies and Big Cinema Multiplex Theatre in Mangalore.

Addressing presspersons here on Tuesday Nov 18, Mr. Kodialbail, who has also written the screenplay and dialogue, said There are 5 songs on Film. Bollywood singer Sonu Nigam and multi-lingual singer K.S. Chitra have sung a song each in it. Popular singers Ravindra Prabhu, Maim Ramdas, Shamitha Malnad, Akanksha Badami, Vinod Raj, Vishal Raj (Kokila) sung other songs.

The story of the movie was based on the Tulu play ‘Madime’ by Mr. Kodialbail, which has been staged around 500 times. Mr. Kodialbail, who had earlier made popular Tulu play ‘Oriyardori Asal’ into a film, said Likith Shetty and Ramya Barna who were lead actors in ‘Oriyardori Asal’ were playing the lead roles in this film too. Some of the other actors are Usha Bhandary, comedian Bhojaraja Vamanjoor, Prashanth Siddi, Bantwal Jayarama Acharya and Santhosh Shetty.

Chethan Rai Mani, Umesh Mijar, Navya Puttur, Sunil Nilligudde, Sundeep Shetty Manibettu, ManjuRai Mullor, Raghavendra Rai, C Ramesh Kalladka, Dayanand Kulal Urva, Rohini Jagaram, NamithAlape, Vittal Mungesh Bhat, Prasanna Shetty Bailoor, Arun Shetty Mangaladevi, Ikala Harish Shetty, Bantwal JayaramAcharya, Yadav Mannagudda, Harish Moodbidri, Agnel Rodrigues, Vinnie Fernandes, Balachandra Shetty Adka, Babuprasad,Anand Shetty Ashoknagar, Ramdas Prabhu, Manjula Shetty, Sundeep Udupi and Suresh Barittaya Also acted.

Stating that it would be a three-hour film, Mr. Kodialbail said two more Tulu movies of his would be released after some time. In addition, talks were on to make five more Tulu films. All the upcoming films would be made before 2015.

He said a series of Tulu movies produced recently had added viewers to Tulu movies. Other Tulu films in the offing included Dibbana and Super Marmaye.

Producer Megina Maladi Balakrishna Shetty said, after he watched the stage play of `Mdadime’ he decided within 8 months to shot the film “Madime” and now the film is ready to hit the silver screen, he added.

Music Director Vijay Kokila, Actor Santosh Shetty was also present.
