Mangalore: Further to the trouble created by SDPI in B Janardhan Poojary’s meeting in Gurpur Kaikamba on Sunday Ibrahim Kodijal DKCC president faced press persons at his office on Monday, as SDPI Muslims had disturbed Poojary’s meeting when he attacked K P Bhat and section of the congressmen wanted the state Govt. and DK police to arrest the RSS leader.
However, a congress delegation led by Kodijal had met CPC in Mangalore to take firm action against Dr K P Bhat by framing charges on his provocative speech made at Gurpur during annual celebrations of Vajradehi Math but no action was taken by the police or the state Govt. as requested by DKCC through home minister and health mister.
When a press person asked the DKCC chief as to why there is in-fighting in the congress between Poojary and the state Govt. or its ministers Ibrahim gave an evasive reply.
The meeting at Gurpur-Kaikamba was called to establish communal harmony between 2 communities at a time when K P Bhat had made a provocative speech at the Gurpur Math only a day earlier and when Usman had no proper ground to make a complaint to JMFC, he said.
The press persons asked where was the communal disharmony to arrest Dr K P Bhat, there was no reply and Kodijal was baffled to find an answer.
