Mangaluru : Condemning the Kodikal  Nagabhramastana idol desecration incident, Vishwa Hindu Parishad and Bajrang Dal staged a protest  and march at Kodikal ground on Monday November 15 .

Shops in the area were closed and vehicle movement is also restricted. The protestors hold a protest march from Kodikal ground to Nagabhramastana leading to the bandh call.

Speaking on occasion Sri Rajashekarananda Swamiji of Vajradehi Math said,  We will give 24 days for the arrest of the culprit here.  If this case is solved, I will recommend to the President to give President’s medal and will felicitate them in Mangaluru he said.

The chief minister should keep  eye on the coastal district. We have voted them for the sake of Hindutva. We demand the arrest of culprits who have desecrated the Hindu worship places,” he said.

Sharan Pumpwell, regional secretary, VHP said, who attacking on Hindu religious places police should encounter them, past ten year in Karnataka any govenment not protected hindu religious places, he said.
