Mangaluru : Sri Ramananda Swamiji of Kolya sri Mookambika Math passed away on Monday, May 23 in a Mangalore hospital.

He was hospitalised a month ago for treatment of diabetes and high blood pressure to a private hospital where he breathed his last.

Swamiji was born in Mavinakatte near Badiyadka in Kasargod district. He had his primary education at Agalpady Sri Durgaparameshwari school. He had worked as a bus conductor in a private bus years back.
