Bantwal : Konaje police arrested three persons were arrested for abusing and attempting to assault a qazi at Konaje.

The arrested are Sharan (24), Vignesh (23) and Harshith (22) all from Karnad, Bantwal.

The accused abused Muslim community near his house,  when he came out of his house, the accused fled from the spot.

It is said, they also entered the mosque and abused and tried to assault the qazi. As he screamed for help, locals gathered and the accused fled from the spot once again.

It is said. They were intending to damage the mosque and disturb peace in the society by attacking qazi,
