Mangalore : Janarogya Andolan Karnataka in association with Koraga Development Associations Federation staged the protest, demanding better service and facilities in government hospitals.

Addressing the protestors, in front of DC Office on July 22, Monday Janarogya Andolan member Padma urged the health department to provide free medicine and treatment in all the government hospitals in the district all the time.

She also said that there is lack of doctors in the government hospital hence the doctors must be appointed soon instead of appointing them on the contract basis.

Janarogya Andolan state convener K B Hobali said that the bad facility in Hospitals and food supplies has put the people of Koraga community in problem. Hence health facility in Dakshina Kannada district must develop, he said.
