Udupi: State Minister for Mujrai Kota Srinivas Poojari has said that measures would be taken to organize Bhajan camps in temples coming under the purview of the Mujrai Department.
Addressing a meeting held at the DC office auditorium on September 2, Sunday he said a government notification would soon be issued in this regard.
He also informed that a meeting of all Dharmika Parishat leaders of the state would be convened in Bangalore on September 15.
On this occasion, he instructed the administrative officer of Kollur Temple to provide drinking water and underground drainage facility for the temple. He said 366 officials would be shortly appointed to Mujrai temples and informed steps would be taken to increase the revenue of Mujrai temples from the present Rs 250 crores to Rs 1000 crores.
