Mangaluru: Karnataka Rajya Hindulida Vargagala Jagriti Vedike, expressed the disaffection over the order of Karnataka High Court on allowing made snana to continue in its traditional form at Kukke Subrahmanya temple.
Speaking in a press conference held at Mangaluru K. Shivaramu, president of KRHVJV said, the practice of made snana is ugly and inhuman practice, he urged the State government must to pass an rule to ban Made Snana as well as Pankthi Bedha in temples.
The made Snana to be held on November 25, 26 and 27 during Subrahmanya Shasti and during Kiru Shasti at Kukke Subrahmanya temple, he said.
The Vedike with the help of four seers will hold protest against the controversial Made Snana(Devotees roll on the leftovers of lunch by Brahmins) in front of the DC office on November 25.
Shashidar Sangapura and L Shekar, dalit activists were present.
