Mangalore : Present Sitting MLA Krishna J Palemar filed nomination as the BJP candidate for the MLA election from Mangalore North (Suratkal) constituency at MUDA office on April 15, Monday.

Speaking on the occasion, he said that he is confident of scoring huge vote in the Assembly elections.

He also said that he had been the MLA of the constituency for two terms, focusing on the development for the basic necessity of the people for ten years.

Palemar said that though there is large number of Muslim voters in the region, he is full confident of winning the election, since there are many Muslim supporters for him.

BJP leaders like Ganesh Hosabetu, Shankar Bhat and Rajani Dugganna accompanied him during the nomination procedure.
