Mangalore: Past District Governor of Rotary International Dist.3180 Rtn. K. Krishna Shetty has been conferred with the Rotary International organization’s highest award “Service Above Self”, in recognition of his significant achievements in Rotary movement. The Award has been given also in appreciation of his invaluable services to the Rotary organization. Rtn. Shetty is the only Rotarian from the district to be conferred with this prestigious international award.

The award was presented by R.I.Dist.3180 Governor   H.L. Ravi during the Awards Nite “Arohana” held   at Mysore Sports Club on May 27, Sunday.   R.I. Dist 3150 Past District Governor Chennai based Rtn. Suresh Chandrashekhar, R.I.Dist.3180 Governor Elect Rtn. Dr. B. Devdas Rai, District Governor Nominee Rtn. S. Gururaj,  Rtn. Dr. Bhaskar and   Rtn. Surya Prakash Bhat, past district governor, were present as chief guests.
