Mangalore: The KSRTC has reduced the fares of its Volvo, Volvo Multi-axle and Rajahamsa bus services with effect from June 18.
The revised tariff is as follows-Mangalore- Bangalore Volvo-Rs 550 ( Earlier it was Rs 640), Mangalore- Bangalore Rajahamsa- Rs 400 (Rs 450 earlier), Mangalore-Mumbai Volvo multi-axle Rs 950 (Rs 1500) Mangalore –Manipal Rs 75( Rs 80 earlier), Mangalore-Udupi Rs 70 (Rs 80 earlier)/
The daily pass for travel between Mangalore and Manipal will now cost Rs 130 instead of the earlier Rs 140.
KSRTC Divisional Controller Ramesh Kumar says the KSRTC has earned much profit this year when compared to last year.
The KSRTC has introduced an evening multi-axle bus from Mangalore to Bangalore with effect from June 16. It will leave the city at 4 pm and reach Bangalore by 10.30 pm. The bus will leave Bangalore at 7 am and reach Mangalore by 1.30 pm.
