Mangalore: An arts exhibiton ‘Kudla Kalamela’ was inaugurated in city, by the City Police commissioner (CPC) Seemanth K.Singh, with 150 artists from Karnataka, Andhra, and Hyderabad displaying their recent works at Kadri Park, inside and on the roadsides on Sunday, Dec 18, when hundreds of families come to this Park for holiday relaxation. There was wide spread appreciation.
Karavali (Coastal Chitrakala Chavadi (Frontyard) organised the mega arts show. The art works were both realistic, as also abstract in presentation, Association Secretary Dinesh Holla claimed.
There was a lot of variety in this painting exhibition, and it was an occasion for local art-lovers to visit the show to appreciate the different presentations, which are not found even in some art works were sold out.
M.R. Pavanje, a veteran artist, was felicitated by the Chavadi painters for his immense contribution to local arts.
