Mangaluru: According to hearsay, Abdul Aziz, corporator from Kudroli ward in the city, who has a place with JDS, has been preparing to leave his party and join Congress. Aziz, who was in JDS and a close associate of Ivan D’Souza of Congress, has been persuaded into joining Congress by Ivan, it is said.

Aziz who has been elected from the ward for the second progressive term from the JDS, has embraced a few developmental works in the ward and along these lines happens to be well known in the Kudroli area. As per sources, the Congress leaders have given a green sign for the confirmation of Aziz into the party.
