Mangalore: State JD(S) President and former chief minister HD Kumaraswamy visited the Garodi Sri Brahma Baidarkala Temple on September 24, Monday and offered prayers to the Lord. The former CM was accorded a warm welcome by the temple committee president Chittaranjan and other office bearers.

Speaking at a function held at the Deyi Baidyathi Chavadi of the temple, Kumaraswamy said the JD(S) has been engaging itself  in several welfare works irrespective of caste and creed and assured that it would continue its good works.

Madhu Bangarappa, State Youth JD(S) Chief, who also spoke, regretted the fact that youngsters were being misguided by several organizations. Kumaraswamy was accompanied among others by MLA Zameer Ahmed, Jamaluddin, Nagaraj Shetty who joined the JD(S) on Monday and Deviprasad Shetty,  Udupi District JD(S) President.
