Mangalore : In a tragic incident reported from Sharjah on the night of October 30, Tuesday, a man hailing from Kumble in Kasargod district lost his life when a hot air balloon filled with hydrogen exploded. The mishap took place during a birthday party of one of the friends.

The deceased is Abdul Khander alias Khalid. He hailed from Seethangaoli near Kumbla.  Thirty eight year old Khalid worked as a driver in Sharjah since 16 years. Three others were injured in the mishap.
