Kundapur: Normal life is disrupted in Kundapur taluk on July 13, Friday is affected following a bundh call given by the supporters of local MLA Halady Srinivas Shetty in protest against the denial of cabinet berth to the MLA.

All shops and business establishments have downed their shutters and even vehicles including buses and auto rickshaws are off the roads. Protests have been held in Udupi too opposing the denial of ministership to Shetty.

It may be recalled here that the coastal BJP MLAs are furious for not giving any representation in the Shettar cabinet, except from Kota Srinivas Poojari, an MLC.
