Kundapur : Six candidates including former MLA Halady Srinivas Shetty filed nominations here on April 15, Monday. Others who filed their nominations include  Gopal Poojari from Byndoor, M Shivaram Shetty from the Cognress from Kundapur and  Kishore Kumar from BJP.

 K Shanker from CPIM (Byndoor Constituency), Uday from BSP (Byndoor constituency) filed their nominations at the AC Office.

The Kundapur BJP candidate Kishore Kumar  arrived to file his nomination along with several BJP leaders including Rajesh Kaveri, Mohandas Shenoy and Sathish Shetty.

Former BJP MLA Halady Srinivas Shetty who is contesting as independent this time, was accompanied by several of his loyalists including Umanath Gangolli, Dinaker Shetty and TB Shetty.
