Puttur : ASP Lakhan Singh Yadav, the new IPS officer of the Puttur subdivision, took over charge from DYSP Dinakar Shetty on September 6.

DySP Dinkar Shetty has been transferred from Puthur Subdivision and Lakhan Singh Yadav, who is serving as a Probationary ASP in Mysore, is transferred duty with his first appointment as DySP in the Pattur subdivision.

The transferred DYSP Dinakar Shetty is a resident of Suratkal and had previously worked as Puttu DYSP at ACB. He was transferred to Madikeri during the election and was on duty. Muralidhar was on duty at Puttur on this occasion. After the election, Dinkar Shetty was re-transferred as DYSP to Puttur.
