Mangalore:  “ Kanoon Jnanakosh” a book on legal encyclopedia  authored by Stanley D’Costa, advocate, was released at a function held at Press Club on November 8, Thursday by Fr Antony Serrao, Parish Priest of Bendur Church. In his address, Fr Serrao hoped the book would help the common man to know about his fundamental rights and duties as well as various aspects pertaining to law.

Edwin JF D’Souza, Konkani Writer and Member of Central Konkani Sahitya Academy also spoke on the occasion.  The author StanleyD’Costa was also present. He has so far written three law books in Konkani, of which the book “Kanoon Maheth” has bagged the Konkani Sahitya Academy Award of the year 2010.
