Haveri: Following leadership crisis in the State Congress, it would not be surprising if the mid-term poll was held to the state Assembly, opined former CM and MP Basavaraj Bommai.
Talking to reporters after attending a program to say thanks to the voters in Masur village on Wednesday, he said the people of Karnataka have completely lost trust on the in the incumbent government and it has been shown in the recently held lok sabha elections. The Congress MLAs were disillusioned as they wouldn’t get relief for any problems and unable to go before the people. The longevity of the current government was very less due to the politics and people. The snap polls would take place within a year and a new government would come to power. This time, the people would perform the surgery of the government.
