Of late, there has been widespread criticism of Press and TV channels of irresponsible and sensational publicity, sting operations, manufacturing of news stories by contriving incidents, exaggerated opinions and sitting on judgment over anything that is happening to criticise ruling parties and politicians, when press hands are themselves dirty. The Press and TV in their clamour of exposures have forgotten to tell what they want, but act like moral policemen and whistle blowers. Hence they need for their social commitment of values that are questioned now by them.
