Mangalore: The Leo Club Mangalore Cauvery organised a Dist level Seminar “Inforia – 2014” on 14.02.2014 at Matra Chaya Hall of Gujarathi Mahajan School for the benefit of the school students.
Lion Dist Governor Ln. K.C. Prabhu in his inaugural address urged the students to develop management skills and leadership qualities to enhance their confidence and competence for good performance. Further, he revealed that the opportunity knocks their door only once and not twice. On this occasion, he released financial assistance of Rs. 2,000 to the Gujarathi Mahajan School and Rs. 5,000 to Preethi Neethi Sadana, an orphanage school as a part of their community development projects and services.
Dist Leo Coordinator Ln. Vijaya Vishnu Mayya in his key note address called upon the participants to rise to the occasion and equip themselves with courage to face any future challenges. Enthusiasm blended with intelligence and hard work will yield encouraging rewards and results, he added.
Eminent Speaker and Co-founder of Bangalore based Varnaaz Mr. Ramani Venkat participated as a resource person and delivered a guest lecture on “Self Motivation and Importance of having Dreams in Life” with audio visual presentation. Later, he had a fruitful interaction with the participants.
Leo Club Mangalore Cauvery President Leo Saajan presided. Lions Dy. Governor Ln. Kavitha Shastry, Lions Club Mangalore Cauvery President Ln. Shamitha Sanjay and Dist Leo President Leo Bharadwaj Rai were the guests of honour. Lions Dist Secretary Ln. M.C. Shetty was present on this occasion. Earlier, Leo Saajan welcomed. Later, Secretary Leo Vimarsh Alva proposed a vote of thanks. Leo Aishwarya compeered the programme. About 200 students actively participated in this seminar deliberations.
