Mangaluru : The lifeguards of Panambur Beach Tourism Development Project (PBTDP), rescued of four techies from Bengaluru out on a weekend tour, and ended with saving two more tourists from drowning, on Saturday.
According to Chief Executive Officer of Panambur Beach Tourism Development Project Yatish Baikampady, Seven residents of Tin Factory Layout in Bengaluru came to the beach in the morning. Of these seven, four were found struggling in the water. Life guards at the beach rushed to bring Vishwanath Swami (25), Sunil (23), Suhas (21) and Karthik (24) out of water. In the evening, the lifeguards rescued Vijay (21) of Salem and Uday Shushiyan (21) of Villipuram from drowning at the beach.
