Mangalore : An unexpected thunder and lightning stroked in city had damaged three cars and one bike parked at Sharada Apartment, Matadakani on November 2, Wednesday at 4.15 pm.

The Sharada Apartment had installed the parking area with interlock and when the lighting strike in the parking lot the area collapsed into the next compound. The roof sheets implemented also fell on the cars.

The damaged cars bearing the registration number are Santro PB 08 BC 7491, Maruthi KA 19 P 3029, Maruthi Omni KA 19 Z 8356 and Hero Honda KA 04 X 5982.

The sources said that the owners of parked vehicles went out of the city.
