Mangalore : The Lions Club in association with Bharath Auto Cars Pvt. Ltd.organized an awareness campaign on traffic rules to prevent accidents at Bejai on Oct 16 Sunday.

DCP Dharmaiah unveiled a damaged car and inaugurated the event.

A. Sadananda Shetty, the chairman of Shree Devi Education Trust, said on the occasion that such campaigns are necessary since there are many accident prone roads and the reckless driving leads to number of accidents hence awareness on traffic rules must be created.

Mayor Praveen released the hand bills on traffic rules. Sudhir Pai, the MD of Bharath Auto Cars Pvt. Ltd., released the ad video CD.

KPCC secretary Ivan D’Souza; Mayor Praveen, Ln. P. Kishore Rao, the governor of District 324-D5; Ln Agnel Rodrigues; Dharmaiah, the DCP for crime and traffic; Keshav Dharani, the senior inspector of RTO; and many others were present.
