Mangaluru: Responding to MLC Ivan D’souza’s statement that PM Narendra Modi had to be jailed for his move on demonetization, former BJP minister Kota Srinivas Poojary termed the statement “heights of foolishness.”

Poojary said that MLC Ivan had to first note that about 90% people had supported the PM’s move on demonetization.

He further said that it MLC Ivan should realize that the move had put an end to the violence in the Kashmir valley.

He added that the move was a surgical strike on the black money economy that was thriving in the country.
